Implementation of Country Versions for SAP® ERP Systems

Implementation of Country Versions for SAP® ERP Systems

After reading this book you will know how to plan, implement and customize SAP and SAP Partner Country Versions.
SAP Country Versions support and simplify the rollout of ERP implementations into different countries, therefore we describe the organization and planning of multinational ERP implementations in the beginning, before the setup of an
implementation project is discussed in detail and tools and services simplifying the implementation of SAP Country Versions are explained. This book will guide you step by step through all implementation details of SAP Country Versions, regardless whether „only“ one country has to be introduced or a big multinational implementation is planned. The practical approach explains the latest configuration methods andprotects the project team against wrong steps or the usage of inadequate tools. Examples for the setup of SAP Country Versions and considerations for the ongoing maintenance round up this comprehensive guideline. You will also learn about the importance of SAP’s Global Template solution and read how it can be used – together with SAP Country Versions within multinational implementations. Finally we explain how SAP’s preconfigured solutions can simplify local implementations and how they can be combined with other country specific functionality. Let us conclude with two key points:
 SAP Country Versions are the key for localized functionality  Tools and services delivered by SAP simplify the implementation of SAP Country Versions
